Senior Social India is designed to help senior citizens and families register interest in safe social connection, activities and community support. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.

1. Information we collect

When a person registers interest, we may collect name, age, city, mobile number, email address, interests, preferred verification method, consent confirmation and registration status. We may also collect basic account information through Firebase Authentication, such as email verification status and user ID.

2. Aadhaar and ID information

Senior Social India does not ask users to enter their Aadhaar number on this website. If ID verification is introduced later, it should be voluntary, proportionate and handled through safer verification methods, such as offline QR verification or other appropriate ID checks. Aadhaar numbers should not be publicly displayed or stored unnecessarily.

3. How we use information

We use information to review joining requests, verify members, contact users or family representatives, support safe onboarding, manage community participation, prevent misuse, and improve the service.

4. Who can access information

Registration details are not displayed publicly. Access should be limited to authorised Senior Social India administrators or support persons who need the information for verification, safety, support or service administration.

5. Firebase and technology providers

The website uses Firebase services for authentication and database storage. Firebase may process technical information needed to provide login, verification, hosting and database services.

6. Safety, verification and misuse prevention

Senior Social India may review, approve, reject, block or contact a member if needed for safety, verification, abuse prevention, complaint handling or community protection.

7. Data retention

We retain registration information while it is needed for membership review, community support, legal/safety reasons or service administration. Users may contact us to request correction or deletion, subject to reasonable verification and legal or safety requirements.

8. Children

Senior Social India is intended for senior citizens, families and adult support persons. It is not intended for children.

9. International access

The app may be made available in India, United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Australia, UAE and Singapore. Community activities are expected to begin India-first, while family support access may be global.
